Scott Parkin

Hi, I’m Scott Parkin and I have been a working commercial actor for 35 years and have appeared in over 500 TV commercials of all kinds, including National Commercials for  AT&T, Miller Beer, McDonald’s , Ford, Motel 6, T-Mobil, Southwest Airlines , Coors Beer, HBO, Budweiser, Ford, Bounty , Lowe’s, Coca Cola, Pepsi , Chevrolet, Shell, Verizon, Frito Lay and many more . I have been improvising in film , on TV , in commercials and on stage for 25 years. I’ve  known David Gray for 20 years and actually booked commercials with David in the early 2000’s . Since I began to work with David Gray in 2015 my students have booked well over 400 commercials and many of his students go on to TV and film. My teaching philosophy for kids and teens is “If it’s not fun ….don’t bother”.  For me confidence is king in commercial acting and in life for that matter.  I also write for television and I’m a freelance advertising copy writer and a commercial director. This gives me exposure to trends in advertising before they actually become established. Teaching kids is never “One size fits all”.  Working with young actors is my great joy and passion and I do it because I love it.
